Yesterday was the 26th of June, a day that will forever be important in the history and life of South Africa.
I was privileged to be hosted by the Zodwa Khoza Foundation on this day in a small but important affair on “Business Information”. I was fortunate to share the stage with Colin LeShou from the Small Business Development Agency.
Colin made such a fantastic presentation and did it with sch great spirit that this blog is dedicated to him and the SEDA.
I want to relate only a few details about this, but am doing so to encourage all emerging entrepreneurs to contact them and make the most of the services they offer. What is important also to note is that the Dept of Trade and Industry, the National Empowerment Fund and many others are active in the enterprise development space and we all in South Africa need to put shoulder behind the when and make this enterprise development system work.
I was impressed by the “Township Revival Entrepreneurship Programme” In this regard Colin shared the following contact details:
Simon Shia 011 4086500 sshiya@seda.org.za; infogp@seda.org.za
SEDA 012 441 1000
SEFA 012 748 9600
Please note the TREP has focus areas on construction, personal care and beauty, catering and food, butcheries, autobody and mechanics, clothing and leather, bakeries and confectionary, and a Spaza Shop support programme.
